About

An experienced hand for companies that want their IT in order

My name is Johan Hedman and I have worked with IT infrastructure for over 25 years — from single servers to HPC environments with hundreds of Linux nodes, including for one of the larger players in the energy technology sector. Since 2006 I run Hedman IT, with long-term clients in manufacturing, PR, real estate and retail.

My strength is the combination of deep technical expertise and the ability to stay calm and clear when something has broken. I am glad to take full responsibility for a smaller company's IT, and act as the senior resource in more complex environments at larger clients.

I build relationships that last. Several of my client engagements have run for more than ten years.

NIS2 security assessment

A packaged review of the company's IT security: current-state analysis, a gap report against the requirements and a prioritised action plan. Typically carried out in a couple of weeks, at a fixed price after a short pre-study.
